Women's Soccer
Our Story
The Fighting Irish women’s soccer program needs your support and love this Notre Dame Day of 2024. The program has consistently been competing at a top level under Doug & Lisa Jones head coach Nate Norman, both nationally and in the ever-tough ACC:
- In 2023 Notre Dame finished in second place in the ACC with a 7-1-2 record
- For the second consecutive year, the Irish punched a ticket to the semifinal round of the ACC Tournament
- The Irish earned a third seed or higher for the third consecutive year in the NCAA Tournament
- Two more Irish were drafted to the NWSL in 2024 - currently 8 alums in the league
- Eva Gaetino, the 2x ACC Defender of the Year, signed a pro contract with PSG
Our why and a thank you from head coach Nate Norman:
"This year we have put an extra emphasis on improving our practice facility. We hope to raise money to install lights and improve the overall quality and aesthetics of our practice facility, creating a training space in which fans, alums and future Irish standouts can be proud of. Every little bit of support helps immensely. Ultimately, this will help us recruit and retain the top talent in the country to the university we love. Thank you as always for your support!"
